Imagine being 10 years old and being awakened in the middle of the night by a stranger…who tells you in a gentle, yet unfamiliar voice that you must leave home, due to a crisis that has nothing to do with you. And then amid this turmoil, you and your siblings are separated and placed in different homes.
This story has repeated itself in some form in the lives of 8,991 kids in our state over the past year.
Maybe God has already touched your heart and you’re ready to find out more about being a foster parent. Maybe there’s no way you could foster at this time, but you’re willing to aid foster families in other ways. You can find out more about the needs and the opportunities to minister to children and families at our “Yes, I Can!” Event for Foster Care.
It’s happening right after the 2nd gathering on Sunday, September 17 at 12 PM. We’ll provide lunch, and we will hear from several experts about the needs and the ways you can be part of the solution. The lunch is free, but we do need you to sign up below so that we can be prepared.
