Students and parents, we invite you to our Equip Night, which will be held on January 21st from 6 – 8 PM. This will be a night for Parents and Students (6th – 12th grade) to come together for worship and to attend various breakout sessions tailored just for them. Through the night we will have a main worship session and be able to attend 2 different breakout sessions. While this event is free, we need to know who all is coming, so make sure to register yourself and your students today!

Parent only Session Descriptions
- Parents of the Past: Have you ever wanted to learn from parents who have already walked through the teenage years? This session features a panel of parents with adult children who will share both the successes and challenges they experienced along the way. Attendees will gain wisdom, encouragement, and perspective through honest stories and practical insight.
- My Student Wants to Date: As teenagers begin to show interest in dating, many parents are left wondering how to respond. This session explores how to guide students through this season with wisdom and intentionality. Parents will gain biblical perspective and practical guidance to help their teens navigate relationships in healthy and God-honoring ways.
- Discipleship & Devotion: What does it look like to intentionally disciple your teenager and model a life of devotion to Christ? This session offers practical tools and rhythms to help parents lead their students spiritually and grow together in their walk with the Lord. Attendees will leave with clear next steps for fostering faith at home.
Student Only Session Descriptions
- Practicing the Way: Following Jesus is more than a title—it is a lifelong transformation. This session invites believers to view discipleship as apprenticing under Christ, learning from Him, and living according to His ways. Participants will engage with practical rhythms and practices that help shape daily life to become more like Jesus.
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Sides of Technology: Technology plays a powerful role in shaping our lives, relationships, and attention. This session offers a balanced perspective on the benefits and challenges of technology, providing practical guidance for using it wisely. Attendees will learn how technology can serve as a helpful tool for spiritual growth while also recognizing the dangers of unchecked or unhealthy use.
- To the Ends of the Earth: The great commission tells us to go and make disciples of ALL nations. How are we supposed to be a part of the fulfillment of the great commission as a teenager? This session is going to dive into bringing about the awareness of the state of missions in the world and showing how we can be a part of the mission given to us by the last words of Jesus.
Family Session Description
- Discipleship in the Home: At ChristWay, we believe discipleship begins at home. This session will offer practical, meaningful ways for families to grow together in their walk with Jesus. It’s designed for both parents and students to attend so you can learn, connect, and take the next steps in your discipleship journey—side by side.
