We’re thrilled about the incredible growth we’ve been experiencing at ChristWay! With growth comes exciting changes, and this year’s Baptism and Tailgate event is getting a fresh twist. This churchwide celebration will now be called “Baptism Bash,” and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it! Don’t worry—you can still hang out with your LifeGroup just like always. Here’s the plan: Baptism will occur indoors at 4:30 PM on October 6, followed by a fun-filled celebration that lasts until 7 PM. This new schedule gives everyone, especially those being baptized, more time to join in on the celebration!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- You can still set up your tents and chairs, bring games, and do all the things your LifeGroup loves to do. You’re welcome to cook and tailgate after Baptism.
- This year, we have a new option too! We’re taking the hassle out of food prep. With food trucks and pizza available for purchase, you can focus on having a blast with your LifeGroup. There will be plenty of food options with various price ranges, so everyone can enjoy without worrying about long lines.
- The area around the main entrance parking lot will be blocked off at 3 PM, and spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re putting up a tent, be sure to let your group know where you’re set-up, and feel free to bring games to play.
