In Acts 14:23, we see Paul and Barnabas appointing elders in every church as they traveled from city to city, entrusting faithful men with the responsibility of spiritual leadership. Following this biblical example, ChristWay affirms the importance of a team of elders who help guard the doctrine and guide the vision of our church.
As we prepare to ordain new elders, we invite you to join us for a special evening of worship and commissioning. Together, we will:
- Pray over these new leaders and their families
- Hear each elder share his story of faith and how God has been at work in his life
- Challenge our elders to lead faithfully and call our church to support them through prayer
