The Orthodox Church is the national religion of Bulgaria, but it’s a mixture of tradition and paganism and few people actually practice it. But they aren’t observing any other religion either. Less than 2% of the population of this former communist country is considered to be evangelical Christian and they are seen as part of a cult by most. But every day God is at work in this region, as young men and women are being touched by the message of Jesus Christ.

There are two possibilities for this trip based on the make up of the team participants….

If we have a team of musically talented people, we will go and use a music camp to reach the unchurched youth of the village. You’ll teach them how to play an instrument, sing and put on a mini concert by the end of the week. All while sharing the gospel every step of the way!

If we have a team of people who are outdoorsy, we’ll hike, bike, camp and get out into the wilderness of the mountains of Bansko to share the love and hope of Jesus with teens and help develop them into faithful followers of Christ?

There will be an Information Meeting where you’ll get all the details on Sunday, December 2, at 11:45 AM in the ChristWay Theatre.
