Jon brings a rich background of ministry service to the ChristWay Church family. His spiritual journey began at a young age, fostering a strong passion for worship which later led him to play keys in various worship settings. His academic tenure at Lee University not only provided him with valuable educational insights, but it was also where he met his wife and teammate in ministry, Tessa. Together, they served in various capacities at their church in Cleveland, TN, including leading worship on Sunday mornings and most notably overseeing the student ministry for several years.
In 2017, Jon’s family found their spiritual home at ChristWay Church and shortly thereafter, Jon started serving on our worship team. Jon’s dedication to worship leadership bore fruit in October 2021 when he took on the role of Student Worship Leader, cultivating our middle and high school student-led worship teams into the vibrant groups they are today.
On May 1, 2023, Jon stepped into his current role as ChristWay’s Production Director. Jon’s key focus is to ensure every worship service resonates with an inspiring and meaningful atmosphere that ultimately glorifies God. He, along with his wife Tessa and their two sons, London and Levi, continue to serve ChristWay with the same passion and dedication they’ve shown since their journey began here. Jon’s commitment to ministry, his skills honed over years of service, and his earnest desire to glorify God through his work, make him a valued and integral part of our ChristWay Team.
