Lydia moved to Chattanooga with her family in 2004. She graduated from Carson-Newman University with a degree in elementary education. Lydia, her husband, and their three-year-old partnered with ChristWay in 2023. Church has always been her happy place, but ChristWay became home when she saw its commitment to a Special Needs Ministry. Her older brother (also her best friend) has special needs and lives with her and her family part time. Because of him, she knows this to be true: each person is intentionally created, deeply valued, and carries irreplaceable purpose. It’s why she believes, without hesitation, that the Gospel is for everyone.
