Margo was called to ministry in 1994 through Faith Home Adult & Teen Challenge, where she served faithfully for 28 years. During that time, she witnessed countless lives transformed as men and women found freedom from addiction, became devoted Christ-followers, and were restored to their families.
In 2021, Margo and her husband, Dan, retired when their three children and five grandchildren relocated to Utah, Missouri, and Tennessee. After many years of life and ministry in California, they made the bittersweet decision to leave and follow their three youngest grandchildren to Chattanooga in 2022.
Although leaving behind lifelong friends and the ministry she loved was difficult, Margo found a new home at ChristWay. LifeGroups and the ChristWay community welcomed her with open arms, offering friendship, encouragement, and purpose. She shares, “I love the over-the-top welcome of our ChristWay family to each person, each week, from the parking lot, to the worship center, to kids’ ministries and LifeGroups. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to add my effort to sharing the love of Jesus here.”
Outside of ministry, Margo enjoys gardening, lunches with friends, and cherishes every moment spent with her grandchildren.
