The Treehouse & The Fort
For elementary-aged children who may need extra support to feel comfortable and succeed in a Sunday morning environment, we offer two tailored options: Classroom Buddies in The Treehouse & The Fort.
Classroom Buddies – Volunteers who come alongside children during K!DS large group worship and small group activities, offering encouragement and individualized support so they can fully participate with their peers in The Treehouse.
The Fort – A specialized classroom with individualized support and structure for kids who thrive in a smaller setting.
Classroom Buddies in The Treehouse
What: Classroom Buddies are volunteers whose role is to help each child engage as fully as possible in worship, Bible lessons, small group activities, crafts, and games.
Where: Located inside The Treehouse (our elementary area)
When: Available every Sunday during the 9:45 AM and 11:11 AM gatherings.
The Fort
What: The Fort is a specialized classroom designed for elementary-aged children who benefit from a more structured and individualized setting during church. In this calm and nurturing environment, each child receives one-on-one support that helps them engage in worship, learning, and play in a way that best fits their needs.
Where: Located inside The Treehouse (our elementary area)
When: Available every Sunday during the 9:45 AM and 11:11 AM gatherings.
Here's what The Treehouse is learning in October...
This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God never fails.
Whenever doing object lessons or teaching kids, teachers tend to have a plan A, a plan B, and a plan C because how kids respond is unpredictable. God is so different from you and from me. He doesn’t need backup plans because His plan, His love, and His nature never change and never fail. So many kids have felt the sting of disappointment. From the loss of friends and a favorite pet to broken homes and the constant reminder on the news that our world is falling apart in so many ways.
What we need to remind our kids this month is how, in the book of Judges, people failed God and each other, but God never failed them. And Jesus never fails us. Even when things look bleak because of the sinful nature and sinful men, we have a sure and certain hope anchored in an unfailing God. (Hebrews 6:19)
