The Treehouse & The Fort
For elementary-aged children who may need extra support to feel comfortable and succeed in a Sunday morning environment, we offer two tailored options: Classroom Buddies in The Treehouse & The Fort.
Classroom Buddies – Volunteers who come alongside children during K!DS large group worship and small group activities, offering encouragement and individualized support so they can fully participate with their peers in The Treehouse.
The Fort – A specialized classroom with individualized support and structure for kids who thrive in a smaller setting.
Classroom Buddies in The Treehouse
What: Classroom Buddies are volunteers whose role is to help each child engage as fully as possible in worship, Bible lessons, small group activities, crafts, and games.
Where: Located inside The Treehouse (our elementary area)
When: Available every Sunday during the 9:45 AM and 11:11 AM gatherings.
The Fort
What: The Fort is a specialized classroom designed for elementary-aged children who benefit from a more structured and individualized setting during church. In this calm and nurturing environment, each child receives one-on-one support that helps them engage in worship, learning, and play in a way that best fits their needs.
Where: Located inside The Treehouse (our elementary area)
When: Available every Sunday during the 9:45 AM and 11:11 AM gatherings.
Here's what The Treehouse is learning in November...
This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God is with us
Our stories this month reveal that God is always with His people. Even in times of human failure, God’s presence remained steadfast, showing that He is not confined to a place or dependent on human actions. No matter what our circumstances are, God is with us.
Monthly Memory Verse: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) ESV
Week 1:
Solomon’s Wisdom | 1 Kings 3:3–15; 4:29–34
David’s son Solomon became king. Solomon asked for wisdom from God to govern Israel. God gave Solomon great wisdom, and his reign points to Jesus, our forever King.
Brite Idea: Every good gift is from God.
Week 2:
Solomon Builds the Temple | 1 Kings 5–8
Solomon began construction on God’s temple. Once the temple was completed, God’s glory filled it. Solomon thanked God for His presence and acknowledged that God couldn’t be contained in a building.
Brite Idea: God is present.
Week 3:
The Kingdom Divides | 1 Kings 11–12
Solomon began to worship other gods. God told Solomon He would divide the kingdom and leave only a portion of the kingdom to David’s family. Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, made the people’s burdens heavier, leading to rebellion and the division of Israel.
Brite Idea: God never gives up on us.
Week 4:
Elisha is Surrounded | 2 Kings 6:8–23
After Israel was divided, the Syrian king sought to capture the prophet Elisha with a large army. Through a series of miraculous events, God protected Elisha and used him to advise the Syrian king.
Brite Idea: God is working, even when we don’t see it.
Week 5:
Esther | Esther 2–8
Esther was an Israelite whose family had been exiled to Persia. Esther was chosen as the new queen but kept her Jewish identity a secret. God used Esther to save her people from danger.
Brite Idea: God always has a plan.

This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: Choosing God’s Way
Week 1
Jonah and the Big Fish | Jonah 1-4
Main Idea: God sent Jonah to Ninevah.
Week 2
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego | Daniel 1-3
Main Idea: God was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Week 3
Daniel and The Lions’ Den | Daniel 1-6
Main Idea: God protected Daniel.
Week 4
Queen Esther | Esther 1-9
Main Idea: God used Esther to protect His people.
Week 5
Haggai and The Temple | Haggai 1-2
Main Idea: God told His people to rebuild the temple.
